FAQs

What SPF Should I Use on My Face?

The higher the number on your SPF, the stronger its protection against UVA and UVB damage; the number correlates to how long it would take for UVB rays to penetrate your skin. That’s why all of our SPF products are factor 50, for ultimate protection.

How Long Does Sunscreen Last on Face?

Our sunscreens are designed to be used as part of your skincare routine and under your makeup if you wear it, so you only need to apply it in the morning, alongside your other products. When in the sun, however, sunscreen should be applied approximately every two hours for the strongest effect, and best protection.

When to Put Sunscreen on Face

Using SPF on your face can minimise fine lines, wrinkles, and brown spots over time. Most importantly, however, too much sun exposure can lead to skin cancer. That’s why you should use SPF daily as part of your standard skincare routine; so that its effects can protect you day-to-day and build up the strength of your skin over time.

How Much Sunscreen Should I Use?

We have sunscreens for the face and body, so you’ll need to know how much to apply to each. While the amount needed for efficient cover varies by product, when it comes to how much sunscreen to use on face, we recommend you’re generous. Ideally, use 3 pumps of sunscreen for your face. When it comes to specialist sunscreens for the body, use about one teaspoon of product for the front of your body, one teaspoon for the back, and one teaspoon for each leg.
