My Morning Skincare Routine (Updated)

I’m long overdue an update on this popular video - there’ve been lots of requests for my current routine so I thought I’d share! As you can see, my routine hasn’t deviated massively since the last video I did on this.

My goals with skincare in the morning are to protect, refine and prime for make-up, whilst ensuring that my skin will stay hydrated (not parched) despite the current burden of full-on air-conditioning whilst we struggle to cope with this heatwave.

I used:

  1. Dr Sam’s Flawless Cleanser, 1 pump

  2. Skinceuticals CE Ferulic

  3. Obagi Exfoderm Forte

  4. Obagi Hydrate

  5. Elta MD UV Clear SPF46 - Untinted

For me, these products layer really well (so important) with no bobbling or pilling and my skin is dewy and plump for applying foundation. It probably takes me 10 minutes to really allow the layers to set properly and for SPF to lose its initially white film - something that is completely normal with zinc oxide sunscreens, which are my favourite kind.

Hope you enjoy this, preferably under the sustaining breeze of a good fan!
